China prevented French experts from overseeing safety at its first high-security virus laboratory, which is now facing claims that it was the origin of the coronavirus pandemic, according to French officials.
The laboratory in the city of Wuhan, where the Covid-19 outbreak began last year, was the first in China to have a biosafety level 4 (BSL 4) rating, which is reserved for institutions working with potentially fatal agents. It was conducting research into coronaviruses, some derived from bats, from which the pathogen is thought to have originated.
The facility opened in 2015 after being built in partnership with France, which was meant to supply the technical expertise with 50 high-level French researchers due to work there between 2017 and 2022. They did not do
C: sorry it is The Times, no one free item in view.
The hypotheses most widely circulated in the West now are that a scientist in a high-security biological laboratory in Wuhan was accidentally infected and spread the virus, or that one of several labs sloppily disposed of contaminated research materials.
Also in April, China’s ambassador to Paris, Lu Shaye, was summoned to the French foreign ministry, a serious step just short of breaking diplomatic relations, for the first time in a quarter century.
Lu tweets several times a day regarding Covid-19 issues. He has repeated claims by the Chinese foreign ministry’s spokesman Zhao Lijian that the virus came from the US. He has alleged that French parliamentarians supported racist Taiwanese comments against the Ethiopian director of the WHO, and accused caregivers in French nursing homes of “abandoning their positions overnight, deserting collectively, and leaving their residents to die of hunger and disease”.
“If there’s a problem, it’s the fault of certain media,” Lu continued.
C: how bizarre, trumpee’ s strategies. ‘Trompeur’ should we dutifully say. duty free.
Lab rumours
The origin of the virus is particularly sensitive in Paris, because France built one of the Wuhan biological labs whose security practices have been questioned.
Wuhan is the most French of Chinese cities, the investigative journalist Antoine Izambard writes in France-China, Dangerous Liaisons, published just before the pandemic.
Wuhan Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, a biosafety level 2 lab located less than 300 metres from the seafood market where Chinese authorities claimed the epidemic started.
The Washington Post revealed on April 14th that US diplomats who visited the Wuhan Institute of Virology in January 2018 warned Washington the laboratory was not secure. A cable dated January 19th, 2018 said the new lab “has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory.” The cable warned that the lab’s work on bat coronaviruses risked creating an epidemic similar to the 2003 Sars outbreak.
China wants the technology, but it doesn’t want co-operation.” Fifty French researchers were supposed to have worked in the P4 lab. There is only one.
President Macron has called Beijing’s trillion dollar Belt and Road Initiative to build Chinese roads, ports and industrial centres around the world “hegemonic”.
C: while yet again boris johnson called the belt and road initiative great.
France did a very very filthy and silly thing, and the Chinese broke their promises, the contract, once the project fully started, according to a French source, (https://www.courrierinternational.com/article/vu-de-letranger-le-laboratoire-de-wuhan-symbole-dun-echec-de-la-cooperation-franco-chinoise) but one thing that is for sure, is that French citizens have been punished to be French by china for years. The English, all other Europeans nationality that I know, etc…are ask for one set of paper to obtain a Chinese visa, for the French a special list is given to them by an admin, that make visa deliverance for them really really difficult, if possible. Why? Because of France standing up for human rights from time to time.
China wants the technology, but it doesn’t want co-operation.” Fifty French researchers were supposed to have worked in the P4 lab. There is only one.
In four instances between 2003 and 2004, the Sars virus was accidentally released at laboratories in Singapore, Taiwan and Beijing. In four instances between 2003 and 2004, the Sars virus was accidentally released at laboratories in Singapore, Taiwan and Beijing.
In so-called “passage experiments”, viruses or bacteria are passed from one lab animal to another in order to study how the agents adapt to their hosts. Past experiments have succeeded in making viruses more transmissible between animals using this low-tech method.
Michel Barnier, the EU Brexit negotiator who was at that time Jacque Chirac’s foreign minister, signed the decree that led to the Wuhan lab’s creation in 2004. But French firms got only minor roles in the building of the laboratory, and by the time it opened in 2017 cooperation had collapsed. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/0/wuhan-virus-inside-story-laboratory-blamed-donald-trump/
Technip, the French company supposed to certify that the building complied with safety standards, refused to do so after pulling out of the project in 2015, and fifty senior French scientists who were meant to move to Wuhan to work there in its first five years of operation never arrived, according to Le Figaro and France Inter, the state broadcaster.
Challenge, a French business magazine, has reported that the project foundered when French military officials refused to supply China with deadly viruses or anti-virus suits in case they were used for biological weapons research.
That was not the end of international cooperation, however. In 2013, a US team filled the gap when the Galveston National Laboratory at the University of Texas, the top pathogens research institution in the United States, began training Chinese researchers for work in BSL-4 laboratories.
The move left some French officials suggesting Paris had lost out to the Americans.
On April 24, a week before Mr Trump’s latest statement, the US National Institute of Health suddenly terminated its grant.
C: above, the telegraph saying that americans took over some aspects of the research in wuhan once the french went.
Laboratory releases of dangerous viruses are not unheard of. In 2003, for instance, the virus responsible for SARS sickened a graduate student who worked in a Singapore lab a few months after the outbreak had ended there.
Here’s how a team of biologists, infectious disease researchers and biosecurity experts put it in a report published in the journal Nature Medicine: “We do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible.”
because “the Chinese Communist Party has refused to cooperate with world health experts.”
Harvard microbiologist William Hanage said the facts do not support the idea that either a sloppy scientist or a mad genius tried to turn an existing coronavirus into a bioweapon.
General Mark Milley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Tuesday that US intelligence indicates that the coronavirus likely occurred naturally, as opposed to being created in a laboratory in China, but there is no certainty either way.
The complex contains Asia’s first maximum security lab equipped to handle Class 4 pathogens (P4) — dangerous viruses that pose a high risk of person-to-person transmission, such as Ebola.
A laboratory in Wuhan is on the cusp of being cleared to work with the world’s most dangerous pathogens. The move is part of a plan to build between five and seven biosafety level-4 (BSL-4) labs across the Chinese mainland by 2025, and has generated much excitement, as well as some concerns.
The SARS virus has escaped from high-level containment facilities in Beijing multiple times, notes Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. Tim Trevan, founder of CHROME Biosafety and Biosecurity Consulting in Damascus, Maryland, says that an open culture is important to keeping BSL-4 labs safe, and he questions how easy this will be in
Chinese researchers face less red tape than those in the West when it comes to research on primates
C: Chinese faces less red taps also when it comes to contract in Africa and other locations, such as neighboring countries, to hire staff, to mine and to log timber illegally.
Those are not governments.
There are governments for the lock-down, governments more as the Members of parliaments are in close-down, that will provide for salaries during the period of confinement.
There are governments that will provide for wages for up to 80 % for the privileged people earning 30,000 euros or pounds.
People earning large amount of money, allowing them to finance lavish life should not be under government protection. Encouraging, branding, fashionaging, waging a complete lack of responsibility and ability at self-preservation and projection). Once the lock-down will be stopped we will have high level of unemployment with working class working all conditions, for a misery, and above all in detestable places where neglect, violence, dictate rules and terrorize.
They live in cities where renting is becoming, has become in fact for a long time- or never been otherwise, just unaffordable. Where one has to find places (de bedsits) to share kitchen and bathrooms with strangers, customarily without lockable place or individual place to make sure their stuff are not at anyone’s mercy. Ready to be stolen it is also the lay-out that authority let to people in difficulty. Good luck to you to keep food in the fridge, etc… a life of misery, where nothing is yours, and this planned by the local council erecting building they put and waste millions in. To be, to put people, staffs and tenants at the mercy of everybody and everything.
Return to your countryside? The sport there is about logging and slaughtering the brave cattle that still think (do they, because maybe they are just like us, waiting for the doom day) (doom day where humans will lay damned by every living things logically colloquially) eating where forest (forage) has been slaughtered first. To see the pollution, the cement and tar, the people that only can leave here, there at the expense of animals’ lives.
The lovers for it, went. And it is a privilege to be there. Here you are, terre.
Governments that subsidize high salaries, that allow the upper middle class to live like prime pruned prude proud pound ponce princes I without responsibilities are simply not governments. They are, and place, re-assert themselves with no subtleties, subtle sublet ties, mafia.
These are not governments. Upholding the way of lives of people who can hope paying planes every season to pay themselves more breaks, who can even hope to have more than one places, to invest in the stock market or in some landlords scheme, whose main problems it to know how they will profit from their estates- that today will be given the same disproportionate amount of money in retirement package.
Also, one has to think of problem of disincentives for the workers who will work without having a break and who supply the necessities for the others while putting themselves in danger. And nothing has been into place to avoid worsen food waste and endanger food security.
Those are not governments.
One thing I haven’t heard often on the radio apparently covid might stay alive for up to 3 hours in the air.
Instead of bullying the Chinese that hid the aids epidemic will do just as everybody did, that is to commit an ecocide on their countryside, stop eating animals.
Like one of these insulting people reporting nothing on mainstream media (of wick national channels are more platforms of self-promotion without debates, anything but real show of experts giving info, expertise or performing investigations) would say ‘ the great minds’ of our nations could find a way to make these protective gears washable and reusable, what happened to boiling? I mean not boiling because it would do bad to the fabric, but something good. Anyone?
It is so many years ago, that anyone observing the rituals in hospitals would have understood that this throwing tons of plastic under the forms of personal protection, just legitimize by all of us not able to buy milk or almost no available food or whatever is transported without the deadly plastic that will keep on accumulating. Maybe a genius will find one day, but no one will erase how billions of beings will have much more disastrous and vastly rampant and not living, meaning not moving, just dead and staying, like we did, with the same nonchalance we our planet and her children lei-surely killed, than any organic diseases, but chemicals that will attack and make disappear, like Alzheimer does, the very flesh through which we think and feel and react to what is thrown, rain and ropes, but now none will be without acidity. Vultures is the next surviving creatures wet web when the orchestrators will be on moon for more than one day.
Much ado about nothing.
Thank you to the BBC whose millions are spent on the wages of individuals such as anchors of ‘ strictly come dancing’ whose old decrepit male anchor for years and years (2004–2013) has been standing, for in view of all with every females dancers he was talking to, inappropriate and indeed sexual touching live on TV. For in ‘these strange times’ are on repeat on the same programs all over (a live groping show as a Saville rerun as the English responses to gang rape and stabbing cultures pervasive in the country, covered by the police, social services and council authorities). I mean nothing knew could we need, a bit of archives? For this to use archives you would have first to produce knowledge on real matters (on all the sciences and humanity subjects of high school and university would be a kind start), not only on parroting current affairs for 10 min max on each (thus eradicated) evading subject, or ask their all omnipresent witness program what dinner, and din-din they were having on the day- and the all morning dedicated to untold or barely outspoken or untitled menstruation, hot flushes and jane austen’s class conscientious problems each and every morning.
A vast publicity agency, so and so that it stands for a di la ‘di di do, di la di di da’ dilly Doolally daily insults and self-esteem instructions for endeavors thereof for the nation.
When the media broadcast when and only when they want to do or undo business with somebody.
Very nice 2020, for this new millennium coming to an age, mind it is not like we did not ask fro it.
The make and mark of the base beat beast on surveillance:
While the American president does everything he possibly can to pose as the 666, so-well awaited. By the way it is very instructive researching the subject of the devil, the mark of the beast etc, on lectures given by the very numerous Christian sects all over the US. Almost all agree on one thesis, the devil’ asset that will usher in the apocalypse is old Europe and the European union itself. A paragraph showing contradictions more than paradox but well. Taking stance about Trump, in my opinion things could get so much more very grave, because it is one cannot be clearer, that he is in fact not sane. Now the more America will get super sick with covid, the less they will be able to vote, the longest it is possible for the incumbent to stay in place (just like in France [and this will be the subject of a next post- the police proved to tend to vote far right as well!!! No more wondering as to why trafficking is common place and why police refuse to investigate it even when given the right addresses…- in your country is that the case?] would flirt with the far right politically, the municipal has been delayed).
It should have been to stop using plastic that we should have gone for a standstill, the time to reorganize a sustainable, honorable, instead of horrific, mode of buying.
Virus may stay up to 3 hours in the air. contagion worst in families, because we are standing very close for long period of time. Also, the length you may be contagious, the carrier or infected by the disease could appear in some cases really longer that generally stated. WHO said cannot get rid of it without vaccine, so much for herd immunity? they torture wild animals and they’d like to base their logic onto the ones they raise and torture.
we know why china toll is so low: it is death in hospitals. With the social credit system who knows what kind of pressure they may add if turning up at hospitals.
Just some info on covid- I do not work on it or update it, so every ‘info’ here about the virus needs to double-checked.
I would not trust asian figures on the corona. in china, the censorship is so rife, that it is border-line dictatorship. but even so they do not need to do more than censor as usual, because it is still deaths in hospital that are compatibilized as such. we could come with china (and korea i don’t know) just like with the aid epidemic or unemployment, with figures that are non-existent. But anyhow china certainly owe its success to so many people working hard, consuming nothing and harboring the land well way more than hell excess- but now inevitably things will slow down, as how disgusting the system is when it near inflated 200 times, will make too much evident its flaw, and flaring snares.
Please isolate as much as possible, the virus I read might stay in the air for 3 hours. Don’t freak out mentally about isolation, reading is the most beautiful discovery occasion. As for foods and other supply wash packaging and everything you are not cooking- or put what you cannot wash in quarantine.
Contagion might be worst in families (or shared work space for long hours) because we are standing very close for long period of time- when it is possible for people to be in different places at all-. also, the length you may be contagious, the carrier or infected by the disease could appear in some cases really longer that generally stated (longer in some individuals). For the Spanish flu, the highest numbers of casualties was in fact on the second year. It is really telling that WHO and other national and international institutions uses only hospital deaths, just as only the ones who accesses it and their costly medication patents are counting. What about the millions in south Africa recuperating from HIV? Killed populations. WHO said cannot get rid of it without vaccine, so much for herd immunity? they haras-s, catch and torture wild animals and they’d like to base their logic onto the ones they raise, harass and torture.
i think you need to ask the medics if you think you have it, before taking any medications (for example they do not know whether ibuprofen might worsen the symptoms.
Info I gathered, still to be confirmed:
I would not trust asian figures on the corona. In china, the censorship is so rife, that it is border-line dictatorship. but even so they do not need to do more than censor as usual, because it is still deaths in hospital that are compatibilized as such. we could come with china (and korea i don’t know) just like with the aid epidemic or unemployment, with figures that are non-existent or criteria that are so loose that everybody is employed in china. Does not protect from poverty and living in trash absolutely riddle with rubbishes quarters and whole part of countryside as the tips of garbage is never picked up by the party!! Beyond any criticisms.
Anyhow they will rubbish countryside and towns so that people die young or are forced to leave, and take it for estate, more and more building, empty and emptying (all other the world building industry amongst the best effective mafias, as long as it is not with the food…).
Please isolate as much as possible, the virus I read might stay in the air for 3 hours. As for foods and other supply wash packaging and everything you are not cooking- or put what you cannot wash in quarantine.

For the Spanish flu, the highest numbers of casualties was in fact on the second wave. WHO said cannot get rid of it without vaccine, so much for herd immunity? they haras-s, catch and torture wild animals and they’d like to base their logic onto the ones they raise, harass and torture.
Unfortunately, there is no good news for bears in China and Southeast Asia. China’s Health Commission has been promoting bear bile as a treatment for severe COVID-19 cases.
The Hong-Kong based charity, Animals Asia Foundation, has been campaigning for the end of bear farming for a long time. More than 20,000 bears are held in captivity on bear bile farms. Animals Asia’s investigations show that bears are kept in cages too small for them to even turn around and bear cubs are often placed in cages which they won’t leave again for their entire lives. It’s not just bears on farms are being exploited for their bile though. Some people believe that bear bile from wild bears is of better quality and will therefore pay a higher price for it.
C: I repeat it here, it is what china is going to jump all over onto, the opportunity to kill and kill, and kill again, invoking cleansing, blaming the torture wild-life and the ones they bred for the corona- like they did on aids for the gays. By yet again the north helped. This will serve to satisfy everybody, killing, killing, render people sad like death and deforestation for estate more mort and mort rapidly.
Trump floats dangerous coronavirus treatment ideas as Dr Birx looks on
The adviser, a consultant who is on several working groups in the Ministry of Health, said the outbreak was being treated as “a security issue, not a public health issue”, meaning the health minister did not have the final say.
“Everything that is related to corona is now in the [central] government’s hands,” another health consultant agreed. “There’s tremendous political pressure coming from the president’s office to control all of this.”
Footage of secret burials of people who allegedly died of COVID-19 are doing the rounds on social media, while parliament has been suspended following the death of three legislators in quick succession from unknown causes – fuelling speculation over the extent of the outbreak.
TAIWAN WARNED THE WORD HEALTH ORGANSIATION IN DECEMBER ABOUT THE EPIDEMY!! That is before china does!
Lame answer of WHO later on in the middle of the pandemic, who basically says, but you did not tell us what was the gravity of this disease!! Like if Taiwan was in position and obligation to send a fully convincing file on all the aspects of a new disease before WHO’ responsibility to investigate kicks in.
NO, the reason more than complete incompetence, and impotence and neglect of duty of care to the whole population, is that china does not recognised Taiwan as independent. Why should they do so? Maybe because Taiwan, contrarily to others, are not a dictatorship pushing its limits.
Taiwan produces evidence it warned WHO of coronavirus in December
C: here I think clear evidence of cover-up, well before wuhan in the spotlight, and whistle-blowers brought to the altar, just like in any other countries, common, come on, you know many a one that has whistles successfully??? with all the crooks and shameless mafia practises in all trades and all counties.
Also look at how leaders of massively big countries deal with the corona like if did not exits, once again, not only Shitna.
Also worth to have a look at the report on widespread corruption in the WHO and most notably the UN quarters, unbridled. It is the best way to erode the necessary overall institutions without which not consistent work can be done. Make them nests to useless ‘’’elites’’’, paying academics, frightening, threatening and counter-productive, a financial hole, malfeasant and mafia building.
The west does not want the south any longer as they fear that their values, hopefully, foul, fool, of democracy and human rights would be undermine by the ones they give positions and jobs too.
In fact the values of the south if less benevolent than the ones of the west, how could one live in country killed by preventable disease, preventable famines, under the scourge of trafficking and wars, with the west organising diamonds and oil loitering for main actions and live in opulence and some kind of innocent ever after that, prompting laugh and feint adoption of cultural parameters while would never like to know about the wisdom that could make us victors.
So they fear the values of the south that are made out of neo-colonisation etc??
They fear not, more and more of fascism, from all colours, sectarianism and stolen wallets, the tyrants like that.
When it comes to the covid crisis though, it barks loudly to me that it is just what trump could have hoped for. In letting americans die, it is the most diplomatic gesture that trump and others could do to co-,mates dictators and ones that inspire or aspire to become so. Maybe a vast, maybe an overwhelming part of the world that just won’t say no.
As for in the UK, the BBC really put into question to the minsters whether the first measures were not too slack (imitation game does not work in the uk, as it is not like in Europe, a mostly rural territories, and that people are more concentrated both in the living areas as the workings ones, but still at minimum 400 deaths a day after 2 months of confinement and a steady pick at 1000 deaths, the uk is now planning in a fortnight to allow businesses to call their staff to the offices- look like the bosses are not going to pay for the life insurance for very long at this rate, or did they give themselves the time to invest or disinvest where they know their Russian rulette are at 5 bullets?
I hope all your family is well. She is to be back for 8 hours at her office as soon as the govt permits it. I am terrified, because it seems that it is the second wave that will be coming in these conditions. VIRUS LOAD
Or the start releasing mid-May, with unselective, unprescriptive no rule on employment that will allow everyone to act just like normal on the first of June, to mark the second wave just ready for the summer solstice, it sounds pretty credible for these new forest pesticide junkies witan wackos.
Permissive and lax positions on the epidemy will allow employers to call their employees back for normal length day, while they could still make them work from home, or ask them to come to the offices just for a short sessions. Call them back in death trap just because they can, in a new no neo-liberalism take on freedom, kill your staff if you will, just by whistling them and another wwave-in.
We will see if the UK will have been able to vote for a guy who does not have honour stored enough to recognise all his ‘bastards’ (as in children out of the wedlock) officially, that in a few years being mayor of London transform it into a ghetto (making impossible for the workers to afford a bus ticket- within a few years of boris johnson mayorship. Right now, 15/05/2020 the millennium coming to an age what a party, the current London mayor, saddick kahn, a labour party gamer, in the middle of the possibly worst recession since Fordism, is yet again rising the cost of transportation, the slow tickets for the workers pay nothing, travelling miles to part-time jobs, while bailing out the fat(not fast) pussies cast cat network That surely is about to do the same to all other should be national organisation and institutions if by lack of fortune he stays in the office, and thanking grovelling the nhs staff that saved his life in prioritising him largely while they will have to put others down. Pardon me, decline.
Just as a remember since in my quarter nhs staff are applauded for being at the front line. They will be also key workers of another kind of major discussions, that prompted a sizeable number of fateful decisions now. The silent invasion of the euthanasia or mercy killing debates. Doctors are set to put us down, if not now, it looks like it could well be comfortably in just an handful of decades.

I was researching documentaries about the amount of garbage in poor quarters in all the cities I visited, the amount of rubbles that is never picked up by the authorities, that is the communist party. They leave people living on top of rubbishes that are never collected. In towns as in countryside, near lakes, hills. Hills that they bombed to make the land even and arable. The red terra Cota of china open her wound that bleed and bleed and bleed on, till they will manage to get all the poor people from the countryside into dirty cemetery towns and that the party of course take the part of the country, like in Europe, where there is still a tree and a water that is not littered with refuse.
(and corpses? = sip seep the poison that this generate will be the worst ever scourge on humanities ever I would suggest. Nature knows now.
C: just to clarify my position between china and Hong-Kong, is that someone needs to be also anti-capitalist, but anyway it is not china any longer able to lodge even the faintest claim towards that heroic aspirations.
Humans that are protected won’t be able to pray for the humans such as them anylonger but for the planet. As for the humans that see that and endure that everyday, this system would ensure that they produce the poison- the only trick they found is for us to ingest it. Wherever one is. Or so it seems, but the ones that is at the worst receiving end have no chance to survive it.

China accuses US of hypocrisy over Huawei, highlighting claims it spied on German leader Merkel
The main supplier of information and communication technology systems to the AU headquarters was China’s best-known telecoms equipment company – Huawei.
But in January 2018, French newspaper Le Monde Afrique dropped a bombshell.
It reported that the AU’s computer system had been compromised.
The newspaper, citing multiple sources, said that for five years, between the hours of midnight and 0200, data from the AU’s servers was transferred more than 8,000km away – to servers in Shanghai.
This had allegedly continued for 1,825 days in a row.
Le Monde Afrique reported that it had come to light in 2017, when a conscientious scientist working for the AU recorded an unusually high amount of computer activity on its servers during hours when the offices would have been deserted.
It was also reported that microphones and listening devices had been discovered in the walls and desks of the building, following a sweep for bugs.
The U.K.’s decision in late January to allow “high-risk vendors” to equip parts of its 5G telecommunications networks permits the continuing involvement of Huawei, a company described by U.S. legislators and officials as an arm of the Chinese state. The decision has been widely portrayed as a sacrifice of the U.K.’s security and that of partner nations to short-sighted material greed

They have been turned away from restaurants, shops, gyms and hotels, subjected to further screening, yelled at by locals and avoided in public spaces.
By last Thursday, officials had reported a total of 595 imported cases since the outbreak began, the main source being the UK. In the last seven days, China has reported only six locally transmitted cases but dozens arriving from abroad.

This was the first of three workshops which aimed to provide initial site clearance and to create some dead wood habitats. The dedicated group cleared a large portion of the old orchard space, making room for new trees to be planted and a beautiful area for fruit bearing to begin again.
Future orchard volunteer days are planned for January 25th and February 22nd. For further information or if you’d like to volunteer, please contact Dr Jonathan Horner, Environmental Manager.

Muslim Society not rebuked for hosting a murder-approving speaker
Reading University cancels “kill gays” Islamist preacher
Feeble excuse: fictitious threat of violent protests?
Cleric’s incitement to murder ignored in cancellation decision
Muslim Society not rebuked for hosting a murder-approving speaker
London – 28 February 2013
Reading University has cancelled today’s scheduled speech by “kill the gays” Islamist preacher Abu Usamah at-Thahabi, which was to be hosted by the university’s Muslim Society.
“Thahabi endorses the murder of gay people and of Muslims who give up their faith. He says women are deficient and encourages the beating of little girls who refuse to wear the hijab,” said Peter Tatchell, Director of the human rights lobby, the Peter Tatchell Foundation.
“While this cancellation is welcome, the university’s reasons for the cancellation appear to be bogus, feeble and unprincipled.
“The university authorities claim the Thahabi meeting was cancelled because of serious threats of violent protest by extremist groups. I challenge the university to name these groups and reveal the threats.
“The idea that Islamist extremists would threaten a fellow Islamist extremist is absurd. The planned student protest against Thahabi was always going to be peaceful and never made any threats, as far as I know.
“Unless the university has evidence they have not disclosed, its professed reason for cancellation looks like a vile, disgraceful smear against legitimate, non-violent protesters.
“To its shame, the university appears to have used a phoney excuse to cancel a speaker who never should have been invited to speak in the first place. Inviting Thahabi clearly violated the equal opportunities and non-discrimination policies of the university and the student’s union.
“Women, Muslim and LGBT students have a right to go to university without being menaced and threatened by hate preachers.
“Disgracefully, the Vice Chancellor has failed to condemn the Muslim Society for inviting
Thahabi.
“Thahabi’s hateful, violent views are not shared by most Muslims in Britain,” said Mr Tatchell.
See below the briefing about Abu Usamah at-Thahabi’s history of murderous incitements, sexism and threats against fellow Muslims.
See this online local Reading press report of the meeting’s cancellation, posted at 19.30 last night: http://bit.ly/VaxxXY
A letter had been sent by the Peter Tatchell Foundation to the Vice Chancellor of Reading University, David Bell, protesting at the university’s decision to host Abu Usamah at-Thahabi, on the grounds that Thahabi had been filmed by Channel Four’s Dispatches programme justifying the murder of gay people. Incitement to murder is a serious criminal offence.
Below is a copy of this letter.
Other protests were made against Thahabi by the anti-extremist organisation, Students Rights, and by Reading University students.
Vice-Chancellor, Reading University
Dear David Bell,
I understand that Mr. Abu Usamah at-Thahabi is giving a talk at the University of Reading on Thursday, 28th February 2013.
This individual has incited hatred and murder of homosexuals. He has abused his right to free speech and infringed the right of LGBT people to go about their lives without threats or fear.
Please click on this link for more evidence of Mr at-Thahabi’s history of preaching hate and violence against LGBT people: http://bit.ly/QxFCVz
It is not good enough to monitor his presence on Thursday. His conduct before attending the University of Reading needs to weigh heavily upon any decision to permit him onto university property.
Allowing him to speak at your university would be a de facto reward for incitement to homophobic violence.
I would urge you to deny him a platform or hospitality, as it would be an insult to past/present/future LGBT individuals attending your university.
If Mr Abu Usamah at-Thahabi’s previous remarks had called for the murder of Jewish or black people I am sure he would not be permitted to speak at your university.
I urge you to not collude with a man who incites murder, and to not adopt double standards on incitements to racist and homophobic violence.
Equality for all. Hatred against none.
Yours with best wishes,
Peter Tatchell
Director
Peter Tatchell Foundation
Background Briefing on Abu Usamah at-Thahabi
Abu Usamah at-Thahabi has previously urged that gay people should be punished with death.
“Do you practice homosexuality with men? Take that homosexual man and throw him off the mountain,” Thahabi was recorded as saying by Channel Four’s Dispatches programme.
“If I were to call homosexuals perverted, dirty, filthy dogs who should be murdered, that’s my freedom of speech, isn’t it?”
On Muslims who leave the faith he said: “Kill him in the Islamic state…If the Imam wants to crucify him, he should crucify him. The person is put up on the wood and he’s left there to bleed to death for three days.”
He was filmed by Channel Four deriding women as “deficient”, inferior to men and religiously and intellectually “incomplete.”
He advocates violence against little girls who refuse to wear the hijab: “She should start hijab from the age of seven, by the age of ten it becomes an obligation on us to force her to wear hijab and if she doesn’t wear hijab, we hit her.”
Thahabi was caught on camera making these incitements while addressing worshippers at the Green Lane Mosque in Birmingham.
When he was later interviewed by Channel 4 News, he refused to withdraw or apologise for his comments.
First of all congratulations for the environmentalist award.
I tried to contact again and again people and professors (no in fact simple doctors from the green team at Ro university, in order to see if transfer the leftover of the different restaurants and cafe lodging in the university’s campus could be arranged. We could have gathered some veg or seed or whatever is for their diet recommended and could suit the fowl and other wild life at Ro university.
I know the surrounding very well and I am alarmed at a habitat ever shrinking, outside the uni, or inside as well.
How do you think could it be done?
I asked to start something done by the students just feeding animals a little bit, including cats, squirrels, all the birds…
And someone answered me that this particular type of food was unhealthy. I researched wild life website, they contradict this claim.
Ro university had become an island of true a few square of wild bushes and shrubs before Ro university manager cut them all down.

Juliette, just in case it reignites old fair anger, don’t. I tried on and on to contact them about the wild life in danger inside Ro university itself, about their campaign and the fact they have been cutting anything a bit dense, just killing habitats by the dozens for bigger mammals, by the hundreds for smaller ones and the billions for insects…
they don’t reply. they are blatant liars core crooks, doing business with lying words creating the illusion for whom haven’t put one feet on this soil. it is what they are.

The one reason I had been so happy in Ro university is that if you make a effort you always can find a room to work on your own, quiet and in peace.
The corner of the buildings I was using was left lighted. Always. Not switched off by the staffs, or students, and rarely by the security staff. So I started to switched it off, automatically, like at home. I swear that after several months of that,
– One, they removed the banner asking to switch off the light.
– Two, they made it impossible to switch off from the switch, the light would never been turn off. True. I guess there were some damn fool security issues.
Try it switch it off really. And they will block the circuit into a permanent ‘ON’.
Circuit , circus.

also I don’t like sociolising, because I think that society is dangerous and too self satisfied with their own record.
so I do something else when I attempt to make a difference for others or for myself.

Asl asking at day length not to be biaised, when the only literature that you got, the diablerie, that they got at hand, is literature of the same type, the only they are allowed to be using, their peers, the gd gender, the gendarme.
Because they talk about baiserie. But who are their peers , paid by whom, the people that is angry or hungry of this kind of richess, that kinda reproductive tyranny, that sleekie.
So what they forgot to say is that you ain’t and they ain’t allow to investigate or to put it mro more cooly. Just to see.
What they write is ain’t biaised but the product of political manifesto , of what is really done, no one whi who read will know. In this world really.
They ain’t biaised but their oblis oblic oblivion of their view, and of their scheme is that they are, we are damned ignorant. And idiot.

it is why I was so upset 4 years ago when the department closed the single honors ba.
single honors are all shot, not one left in the country or internationally.
and I was so gutted (astonished as in takes in taken aback) that after I had provided this information to the hr students campaign, it had not been taken on board at all. their campaign finally finishing into a long page length of praise for the crucible center and the was to become former form of theirs- praising their diploma instead of fomenting real action against the punishments and perishing of their subject.
now, for my single honor ma I am fretting, even though I really like world politics,
I would have still to be accepted by ‘good’ universities. on the assumption that you have to be top rank to study h.r.

Hi Darren, I absolutely not asking for a technical answer. I don’t like when profs have to answer with many lines of formality, as I know it takes a lot of energy.
When not needed, when one line would have sufficed instead of 3.
What I have to say is that the prof would have had much less to say if the booklet of administration rules, etc, where applied , were worth their name, dignity providing.
Sorry for it is a funny way to right, but at lengh and the strong capability of enforced aptitudes, the strength and path of haibu habitude, one becomes timid.

according to the pattern, there is methodology in the research proposal, so I could technically put the methodology there and it would go without having to be word count. I am saying that as my word count is really too high.
I just trying to be dodgy, but technically this could be possible. I don’t know what to do. and I d rather to keep my paragraphs and chapters.
I d like to say to you don’t answer but am gagged and tied, and I will have to scrap one third of my essay at demonstration on top of that.

However, he possibility of finding“Intertextual coherence’, intertextual links and comparisons (Murray, 2002) (Greetham, 2008) in order to find a gap (Murray, 2002) (Greetham, 2008), have been then limited because of finding texts on this exact subject were not easy; and in fact transposition of human rights discourse into democracy discourses and vice versa was on the very nature of inter-disciplinary and cross disciplinary understanding’ (Bryman, 2001) .
Whereas I initially intended to ‘diversified sources and accounts as well as different nature of texts (Murray,) I once again just stumble upon the scarceness of the subject in another circles than strictly academic papers. I did not find much data, that I felt would be academically trusted (additionally a lot of academic papers were not free and not obtainable through the university books or e- books or journals subscriptions), nor through journalistic items (May, 2001), the subject is definitely not treated, or as the main object of recognized international organizations producing their own means and ways of debating. Therefore, even though I wanted to avoid only citing university researchers and regional, international or supranational documents- as primary sources (Hart, 2010), but I would argue still very close to what has been classically called and considered to be part of the institutions and its dynamism of status-quo by to just name a few Foucault, Bourdieu, or Chomsky- my essay lay on virtually only academic papers
The academics whose work is to produce booklet about the overview of what it is said, and asks their students to make a balance view out of it. Elite prodit. Product pro dit.
No prodigy.
LECTURES also, I realised I would have to keep completely quiet, till the end and the moment they might ask for questions and comments. as it was disruptive and anyhow just interrupt the concentration needed for full understanding, studying, and memorisation.

Cleric’s incitement to murder ignored in cancellation decision
Muslim Society not rebuked for hosting a murder-approving speaker
London – 28 February 2013
[…]
“Thahabi endorses the murder of gay people and of Muslims who give up their faith. He says women are deficient and encourages the beating of little girls who refuse to wear the hijab,” said Peter Tatchell, Director of the human rights lobby, the Peter Tatchell Foundation.
“While this cancellation is welcome, the university’s reasons for the cancellation appear to be bogus, feeble and unprincipled.
“The university authorities claim the Thahabi meeting was cancelled because of serious threats of violent protest by extremist groups. I challenge the university to name these groups and reveal the threats.
[…]
“Women, Muslim and LGBT students have a right to go to university without being menaced and threatened by hate preachers.
“Disgracefully, the Vice Chancellor has failed to condemn the Muslim Society for invitingThahabi.
[…]
A letter had been sent by the Peter Tatchell Foundation to the Vice Chancellor of Reading University, David Bell, protesting at the university’s decision to host Abu Usamah at-Thahabi, on the grounds that Thahabi had been filmed by Channel Four’s Dispatches programme justifying the murder of gay people. Incitement to murder is a serious criminal offence.

very disorganised university, spend times and times again asking questions whose answers I should have found in seriously done booklets.
I cannot understand there is not something to say average in your study.
it helpdesk is ok but the it at uni isn’t good. particularly the library, too slow, not reliable, unclear, unstable, a waste of time.
this university violate my lgbt rights, and ask me not to say to muslims students their prophets had a wife that was a child, and that therefore I consider it as pedophilia, while it is ok for this student to say that their religion would forbid my union to another woman. I found and still that revolting and not understandable.

For example how come some university pop first in search engine results, while their being listed first seems to be suspect.
Example just by taping ‘ac’ why would some name just come up ‘early’?

ok, It is clear that in this booklet then I absolutely have no idea why someone talks about the idea of a abstracted text as their second subheading.
furthermore I was not to do any findings and discussion since you said it was the literary research type not in the ground.
the booklet is not clear, it is not the first time I spend time trying to satisfy the booklet criteria not even in vain but in contrario to what is finally expected.
having saying that Michele, it is ok, though I am not expecting your convenor to make it clearer, they are faultless, aren’t they?
having saying that Michele, it is ok, i wish you a nice rest before resuming and i was happy to have not done too bad for this essay.

It looks like I need a tutor to understand the booklet.
I tried to let DR Iles know I could no make end or beginning of it, but she refers me to you without explanation.
am happy with my mark even if it is below everybody, but if really I lost points because of this, while I might be at 3% of obtaining a 2:2 degree, it feels bad.
Dear Mr Skinner,
of course I ended up paying the ongoing student rate but for 2 years – in fact almost 3- I have been left to believe that the rate would raise for me as well. the administration let the profs (well Darren O’Byrne as I spoke with him about that again- I was not before hand questioning him about the rates but just were complaining that the rates raise was catastrophe for my personal finances, I also went full time student last year to avoid paying triple, and this I told every of my teachers, none reacted) know only last year last term. that is only one term before the new fees. two years without notifying their part time students about them being unaffected by the change.
sorry just for confirmation, did you mean that I ll have to contact Dr Iles (the convenor of the course) – or the registry (but this one I won’t if it has to be after the board review preferably) a propos my mark before the board?
Paid for a 40 credits dissertation module for my personal tutor to be on holiday one week before the dead line.

thank you for these information. just hoping that someone would have redress the tort before it actually harm my results and time and disposition further.
I also did try for somebody to acknowledge my having to ask my employer to shift my hours and this having resulted in me losing paying time hours and could have resulted in endangered my jobs because of me changing patterns and numbers of hours due to my thinking that modules fees would have tripled.
but to be honest I lost confidence in anyone doing as much as replying to me- proportionally to my loss and the loss it could have occasioned, more than shrugging shoulders and glancing at their watch puffing more or less discretely conveying the weariness to spare me 5 min of their time more that it (or I) takes to its discredit, namely mainly.

Janet Napolitano to Resign as Secretary of Homeland Security, Official Says
Janet Napolitano, who has served as President Obama’s secretary of homeland security since the beginning of his administration, is stepping down to become president of the University of California university system, administration officials said Friday.
Ms. Napolitano, a former governor of Arizona, has overseen the administration’s handling of homegrown terrorist incidents, major disasters and immigration, one of the most expansive portfolios of anyone in the cabinet. She had her eye on becoming the next attorney general, but with this move is taking herself out of the Washington political arena.

I would like to say that in the university of Ro university an extraordinary way of doing security shows how considerate the staff were and were asked to be to students needs. At Ro university since silent zone are not totally respected at times or are crowded there is a way of using empty class room. Security staff doing their job are doing it so intelligently that it is possible just to isolate oneself in a way that foster thinking, in a true silence for long time with them leaving you the possibility to isolate yourself if you want, of course as far as it is to do genuine study.
Like in other places without these dispositions the people making noise would widespread in any corner and to get a quiet place would be a no. no-brainer.

I am all for freedom for the teachers. I would become authoritarian to draft how they should proceed as for their lectures, usually these kind of policies affirming themselves to be from the vast professional corps when they are the even not notes coming from one booklet but its summary , but all the same:

I must let you aware that I have to thank you personally about the obtention of my ba. well Bs, because I was not for my part fully informed about UNIVERSITYhampton denial to the necessity of having a good 5 mn for questions (not for questions-answer only). There is in almost, or most lectures no time, no one second for any of this. and when there is it is done in a competitive manner where you ve got 3 mn to wrap it all. all supplementary seconds taken as a toll. Your having seriously warning me about that (well not about that, but of my having to shush it real), I am a bit long, see very long, at the understanding, could have in fact stopping me from transgressing the law of silence, which I did not thing were reigning absolutely. to have lost my right to study would have killed me. and in this capitalistic system it would have killed me also financially. I came all the way for uni, I work around for uni, I spare my money for uni, I kept my time free for uni…
I wanted to make my thanks to you clear.

“Professor Paul O’Prey, vice-chancellor at UNIVERSITYhampton University, had a 21 per cent pay rise to £218,000, (now on £246,000) as well the ‘tax-free benefit’ of a home.” (Daily Mail)
C.ET: no offense, no put into question the competence that I anyhow does not know and have not been invited, nor have access to judge, and no whatsoever information about him but that he used to compose poetry of war: t is just that I came across with the vice-chancellor salary.
What justify he is paid I think a good 6 times more than a senior lecturer. How much are they padi. Don’t know tell me.

UNIVERSITY UNILATERAL.
Promoting and human rights (De l’) education.
I have even witnessed at university people, docs in environmental studies refusing that people start organising to feed the wild life with appropriate food from what is thrown from university bar and coffees.
Them cutting every tree that were not apples tree to ‘renovate’ the orchard. Within an environment in the nearest town on and on shrinking, mass of free land with old trees and bush just oust and take away by buildings. The very land at university each year on the cutting down. Without bush, something dense, from (BUTTON) bottom to branches, there is no habitat!! It is the used illusion of the green it is a lawn with a bit of arborative, a decoration. NO HABITAT, NO WILDLIFE!
I have seen these same people saying that the uni was specially green, while throwing brand new, or totally well working equipment, tons and tons of them everyday of practically, paid with our fees (some paid 3 times less than a teacher when as a worker they are well paid, so to buy yourself more than a hutch, no possible, above all when you do not follow citizens rules of neo liberalism and lobster for lunch to the banker and politicians that bankrupt the same institution that disposed us all anyway).
And feasting like environmentalist in a meadow whose free animal numbers are ever decreasing, (just like if they were the chickens they were too good to slay) with barbecue (spreading the smell of burn flesh, what make you what you eat, dead and assassinated) for main banquet.
THAT WOULD MAKE ME CRYING. (For my parents, and then dying?)
Though I witnessed it last year, for an academic to say that they were there to implement this unworded policies, or worded by just partly, not documented what they did to the orchard and how they refused us to feed the wild life with the kilos of food that are throw incorrectly (not even recycled).
I would not obtain the peer review, here peer standing for citizens the hypocrisy of how illusion of human rights are in effect being don. Done.
I ll always freakily be remembered the students in bunch profiteering without knowing, and thinking they are the next generations of gentle mean, gorging on red meat and other slain, salad of white, pink, red, ors rose whatever the blood will stay, in front of the wild goose, geese, duck, ducks, squirrels and epervier. Just in front of them, just like if they were good human beings not just fit enough to make them their poultry. Pouty.
Make me think that passive corruption and mafia are not just chez les politicains, no amis.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Season 12, Episode 9
Gray (15 Nov. 2010)
C.ET: I liked this one, one how university administration were covering up their scandals, working against the police investigations even. Maybe selling their females students to guys after some kind of affluence or young marriage or pregnancy offences…
What I don’t like? Like a lot of tv material, news even, this episode is not freely viewable.
When some would, if some were, I would have been able to derision the BBC coverage, or other sources, so many times, that hidden places are to advice.
Like the way one could satire the tone of D. Cameroon making the pro independentist Scotland sounds like if he was a sweet father prompting his lot to calm down and football play.
In France we have, or had, I am not updated, hours amongst the 5 different channels, of satyr aimed at famous people, wealthy or politicians.
Just mimicking big boss, even not well wrapped, intentions, weakness, propensity to simplification, and laissez aller, their neglected way, the without a shame they want to mock people and their lack of intelligence, competitivity, their lies, their self interest, their thief ways.
How to let people think they are in charge when you know that the puppet wants his money.
To patronize the whole audience in making believe England is a rock. Well it is a rock actually and very little without its provinces, even though all what DCameroon remark about them is their being red instead of blue. Blue instead.
Text campaign Roehampton University.
Thank you for letting me post,
University’s issues.
One pays thousands of pounds to enter university, and some lectures just last ½ hour instead of 1 ½, with teachers making jokes about students wanting to go early. To react like this, I think, is to take people for damn idiots and spurn how hard some students (not their parents I hope, higher education has to be paid by the student in my opinion, or later on after you get a job. But more on this is that university should be affordable to every and any purse) might have to work, sometimes have to sacrifice to pay the fees. On top of teaching that jobs are unserious and ‘owning’ them is just taken for granted. It is grandly unserious, it is what I mean.
Your university wants to have a green reputation. Just one or two facts.
The bushes are actually shrinking from year to year. Wild life needs real green to survive, not just grass, and big trees isolated. Nature cannot build homes without undergrowth, etc.
Roehampton like other universities raise their fees so dangerously, but for what? The vice-chancellor praise themselves to reinvest it in teachings and not in research… am curious to know about what, with what rubbish they will manage to produce real refined culture, or novelty.
I’ ll tell you where go the money for a green uni, in throwing in the bin brand new equipment to replace it year after year, that endlessly.
We pay sweat and blood for the fess. Research is not prioritised, or prioritising, but at least they change for marble the W.C.
CLANG TO THE CAGE.
One stuff more, I really think that the lecture content is good enough, though I went in some in which I learnt absolutely nothing. My opinion is that the ‘Groove house’ (administrative building where the top guys from specialists in subjects became suddenly fit for top job in admin? = UNIVERSITIES’ HEADS AND DIRECTORS– or were they never subjects specialists but always ticking- the building that has need been subletting) did not bother and recruit lecturers ‘not up to the job’. Like is above said, I think roe is ok regarding to lectures content but even very few staff not up to the job are enough when given lots of lectures or responsibilities to spoil the students’ year and rob them from necessary aptitudes. Recruitment giving lectures to professionals that were not committed.
I guess that lecturing is very very though, and students that do not respect silence should be asked to go out. At least when it is nothing to do with the content, their disruption.
Questions time after lectures:
About the other types of disruption. ADRESS ARREST. It is only intellectual honesty to leave after every lecture, 5 to 10 min brief, for students to ask question or to simply question the lectures, or add information that is felt to be lacking, any reasons that make learning and discussion progress. And can fight the narrative in which everyone is and has to be. The narrow narrative imposed by ‘art of the dissertation’ itself (or almost). This possibility is the ABC of pedagogy and is obviously not respected, no time for questions in almost every lecture, or quasi. They ask me to work and give them of my money more what I can spare in a full entire year of labour (lab or) for one year of their teaching and ask me not to ask questions after more than one hour lectures, nor pass comments. For who they take me, the new servants of pervy demagogy (demagogues, dodge)???
Do not take me wrong, there is very good, empathic, serious teachers and lecturers or admin at uni
Now mentioning the self-declared feminists TEACHERS!! FOR and experts on pornography and prostitution advocacy.
Nevertheless, of course at when the green, the surroundings hosting boars and not boredom, birds and not golf birdy, badgers and the infinity- when wild life is so lovely that whatever happens we are happy. I hope the cats there and still there, and all others are not due to the former rulers and will continue to be under universal’s establishment protection.
To finish I tried to feed the wild life (please do something for them) as around uni the town’s green places and little woods are being devastated.
I tried to feed the wild life with the huge amount of food waste from the university’s cafes and restaurants, I asked and asked again university green team, just to be ignored.
PLEASE FEED THE BIRDS, THE SQUIRRELS…
AND RESPECT this beautiful place, that has for extra rid, extraordinary campus that ought to be kept just a paradise of quietness. Stop the barbecue or grill veg, please. Students Grilling meat in this vast paddock near the ponds in front of the still surviving goose, ducks, and hens, heron… is just an image from hell.
BE VEGAN.

It is of political sciences studies realm to have denounced referendum as traditionally possibly anti-democratic. But you don’t have to answer whether referendum is or maybe by default (defeat in effect- et defect – defecate) undemocratic, when the same government has been deaf and have crushed protestors that were anti levelling of blatant inequalities foundations, up to the core of the rights and opportunity to education (and therefore knowledge and information- and their discovery or ‘formation’).
As for the centre of excellence of human rights, it had for sole possession a directory of non-profitable charities, collected by staff, the size of which I collected myself in 3 to 5 days volunteer work I had been allowed to initiate in Paris.
My big guess, is that it came into being essentially to cover the notion of citizenship taught in high schools trough the UK, certainly not for human rights by a country leaving and maybe at the brim of its dawn of pulling from protective (of human and nature rights) international treaties.

The guy with no or almost no backgrounds in h.r ending up doing 5 completely different modules on the first, second, third year.
Even by a super good professional could not be done seriously. And anyhow what this should be done as how many very acknowledgeable professionals with profs will and ability should be holding the seat?
So when it come from someone with very limited experience 5 different modules is impossible, even though if the case would have been that it was a serious guy that they had recruited.
How many goo professional miss some opportunities to give us students something of quality?

No cos basically as university is discreetly (creed-waster ideology) taking our purlieu nature. They are obtaining from some students to emphasize how the surrounding is green and lovely, which is true, but what about the establishment instead of protecting the inheritance from the past, and end try (dry dory forty) to enlarge it in view of the more than a environmental crisis more than known today????
They are contrarily to their publicity praising environmental actions and the natural, central and centurial beauty of the campus. They are building taking all the space “pricy pricky” (a description of you with your for-getting at car, oblivious absconding abuser of vital long term even not attending to the slightest step towards responsibility. Pons. Parking. And bush survival minimum for the still living bunch of fauna, resisting. The bushes they are cutting.
To speak about information, to speak about recruitment. Happily leaving the institutions being ruined run by students, neophyte in everything but taking the piece out of democracy. Why??
Cos they are great advantages potentially to assault and ‘societies’ taking over.
Ex: funds raising named so with words like charity redirected to amicable cocktail where your members that you sorted out according to if for suit suite suttee you without wit another jobs or props or specs. They are ready.
(don’t call me a racist I use words to depict prostitution, corruption and infamy or cur cruelty carnality actually eventually on infancy, pertaining to all over the countries. Count try. Hidden with whatever dubious call to basse court morality.
Who are you reling quishing profs? Who rect recruit them??
Rectify, deify, rect-hom. Hum.
No cause in human rights why not to take on one that are not but vague notion of manage rings and knots skills for crook, well u know, internationally big company.
And left out of the door real papal apple people that risks their lives (our fivers) or are very experimented in at least on modules and that would be great at entertaining us with their real expertise??
I mean I don’t get it.
On how our university are ruled like 5 stars hostels
And manage like anti-democratic businesses not allowing (instead of questing, investigation) the slightest time to debates…
By staff not knowing if they flee after lectures because they obey the market or because they are afraid of being incriminated by f…little students that cannot stand an opinion if they are contrary to the talc that still apply their mummy.
Or just because they are incompetent. And not competitive (jive), just the way they will teach you to react to the criticism, no debate, no teachings ethics, not ethics, just spoiled dummies.
Some truly are, but I won’t throw them stones as as I try to denounce students game never campaigning, none, but complaining (and without any intelligence or honesty will be taken their complain, as what do you want to expect from a nano uni that have lost , its duties to educate with embettering the so calle(n)d word,
Cos it is not to do the pest, no, no, no.
But you know how much it costs that, the info that they are hiding away.
They will constant cost your being ready for interview at the end of a day.
View, vie, wive.
And what they do the don, con, they count, mon amil
Additional question. Do you think ti is the majority of your poff that have read a book on pedagogy.
Because the situation is:
They have to run towards other obligation that those of teaching, you see. It is with these arguments, here they argue, that some are more cod condescending that if I was the worst thinking monde, moldy money, monkey not yet manage not to communicate my relative intelligence, but proving it in laughing like a human in articulating is moody: wages and slip on banana as long as ape puck pundit punction. On salary.
Something intrude intrigue me too, ti is on intellectual ownership. How come that these head fob cattle leaves eve basically (and heave as for regeneration fog oxygen it is not the tons of wastage and tree cutting that will be produce from university green lying publicity)
. How come it is so ownerships, shipped like the taxes, and the research never handed, honor ship, the courses, even the description of a modules as University is happy to provide 3 lines for their idiot (and edit indeed idiotic in scale with the forcing fording feeing foereign that pay for the pounds of sheet crap how to lick and persevere after university) but ready to commit (what) student.
On the bewilderment on how many teachers in university are not specialists in the subjects they are in charge of. How many guys, showing with how little serious and for all their glibness one can make a living off subjects they have no interests in rather than taking people dedicated to knowledge and lectures (bizarre in a system where fees are not accessible to the people in the street as and because (or thanks for the legislature to hold on to the legs of the gest politician partiture portraiture perjure pourriture) the building budget goes out the roof, being handled by 6 salary figures.
Most of them being formerly formally from the financial professions, parasiting again, this time jobs for teachers, or any other professions, obtaining posts by the dozens (while of what they know or did from before was how to crook before the sales) as fascist recruiting is best for the oligarchies that will take over the scrap left on this planet who should have us banished by the time hell was created. Ante now.
We are used to hearing what will you be doing with such diploma?
Of course if you need to be or ‘he has been’ a former manager in a big fucking company known all other the place for its fundamental big problem (trade oil for example) instead of them recruiting people with real back grounds in human rights (how many people have spent their lives risking their own lives trying to reduce the scope of humanitarian disaster, how many people would be so enthused, so more than that to teach students about human rights that they would dedicate their time to learn what they are supposed to teach (and not like these guys that end up here because of the niche in another market or because they confound laziness with anarchism, authority with authoritarianism, sympathy with patriarchalism, efficient with hypocrisy, commitment with lies, )
On university astonmomical fees, I am here a cleaner mate, that could not afford to be part time or even ¾ time and pay housing, the prosti tuition and electricity. My pension to have not to beg the cruelty.
And as well I know that work, job before or afar after uni are dim dirty.
On a safe side, I am a cleaner at university that these academic intellectual total they know what a word mean and way or say paving pacing. They say they are the top of green, I am a cleaner there and everything goes into the same bingo bin.
Bingo Bring being.
Can you make sure you understood it? We ve got bing for recycling visible to the student but if these impolite ploting flea in that flow the lie lea live in dumping their rest of packaging – that should be forbidden already- on the table for the slave to move or in the wrong bin- mind they got almost the medals for not having the parasitary habit of asking for a sweeper behind their little scene, and sad sin, act tor, tort. There is no play in pollution enacting. Why to pass dimploma if we have to stay so much more not choring but w—– hoarder order imbecile? Devilizing, debilising, destabilizing. BILL.
Formerly people could count on competition and think we will be taken over by people less insignificant than that (vat).

First of all congratulations for the environmentalist award.
I tried to contact again and again people and professors from the green team at University, in order to see if transfer the leftover of the different restaurants and cafe at university could suit the fowl and other wild life at University
I know the surrounding very well and I am alarmed at a habitat ever shrinking or outside the uni or inside as well.
how do you think could it be done?
I asked to start something done by the students just feeding animals a little bit, including cats, squirrels, all the birds…
And someone answered me that it was unhealthy. I researched wild life website, they contradict this claim.
University had become an island of true green, truth, a few square metres of wild bushes and shrubs before University managers cut them all down at university.

The narrow narrative imposed by ‘art of the dissertation’ itself (or almost holo cause).
It is about University University, and more largely what may be happening in other Universitys or to other students, to teachers even -how their jobs might be prone or (re)viewed for regression, or to the educational system at large.
Not kind king, but (Din- much ado, Dean – D (the mark and brand) in) kind of king.
UniversityUniversity is a place where one is still enjoying to be trusted while using free space, walking and secluding oneself in order to study due to a well intelligent way of managing and security policies. Guardians with intelligence and the obligation of giving to students silent rooms – whatever the risk of theft, minimum in there. University is quite secure, or overcoming the potential of disruption in order to provide this vital function, – silent, studious access fulfilled.
PLEASE RESPECT THE SILENT AREAS, OF WHICH there OUGHT TO BE MORE.
Please respect the areas for silent study.
And the church, the temple, the mosque. None but the sacred place: the nature.
And now cutting their undergrowth without which no wild life might persist. University University whose advertisement strategy is too insist on their environmentalist premium and first class attitude on environmentalist issues, (h-)as just scrapped their environmentalist degree, and taught their teams to cut the remaining bushes as well as throwing brand new perfectly functional hundreds of tons of furniture and buildings.
Cutting the bush were animals can live, eat and hide and to have planted like 29 year old birch tree at the price and attendance that this operation might (might he) hint and hit, instead of go rowing little ones in a spirit of nursery. They cut everything and after that replant big trees, that it looks good.
To say that they look environmentalist just near the door of the buildings while the green space are shrinking, and salvaged, slaved behind the (seances sciences) scenes, just 19-38 yards behind, (at the doors they replant while at the back they empty, say) but enough to dress the eyes and sense astray.

There was a gay society in University, though none (nonsense nominee) of the students beneficiating from it, advertising it to others. It was a closed, almost secret one. Though doing fundraising not towards visibility but their little personal trip to gay pride outside the borders of UK.
I actively seek for the gay organisation there for 2 years, every semester. None appeared whatsoever. It took me to bump into somebody who knew their backdoor to finally assist to one of their meetings. They benefit from donations, and kept more secret in a public place free from other societal pressures and whose duties is to welcome further education students into a communities life where to find happiness is permitted.

Furthermore, it would be more so in University in particular, as the LGBTQ community there, is invisible, which entail that on top of not being represented by the university, while the person in charge of these subjects are completely unresponding even email, information put forward by voluntary organizations is completely absent.
Besides, it would be more so in University, as the LGBTQ community there is quasi invisible, whether through the administration network or through activities or through consciousness-raising campaign put forward by voluntary organizations that are virtually completely absent- but one poster I found in 4 years of peering at the wall, one party maybe (absent), looking inf act

Academics don’t stop em-phasing discourse and discourse analysis, mocking again and again the simple statement of informative paragraphs, because they don’t have any information, they play being independent and critical but are all completely tied outer, inner, by organisations of all denominations, to find out, investigate and name the source of concerns.
Honor Diaries.
[…]
Due to pressure from powerful Islamist groups in America, three universities have cancelled screenings of Clarion Project’s latest film Honor Diaries.
Honor Diaries addresses the abuses women and girls face in Muslim-majority societies: forced marriage, female genital mutilation, denial of education, restriction of movement and – the ultimate – honor killings.
C: I think we can relate that with your article on university hosting speaker inciting the murders of gay people.

The lights that are systematically turn on by the staff everywhere and never turn off.
The tons of brand new furniture thrown each month, and at the basis of the fees increase less and less sociable.
University and the restaurants at lucrative aims have forbidden access to the kilos a day of food they get rid of. They also keep on forbidding access after official request on the ground of feeding the few wild goose remaining on the ponds thanks to Richmond park proximity.
Please could you boycott eat company in particular as their food are completely inaccessible as university as more and more closed doors nowadays, and clearly refused all negotiations towards what was just feeding the birds next door, now the fences have been done, in the very same garden surrounding university.
Also could you notice that the surface allowing posters on board are shrinking quite miraculously. We are doing fly posting now. And it is logically presumably a only question time till the day posts on wall and window will be remove and threaten with legal poorsue like in town.

Vice: work should be considered as the growing ability at serving with more and more skills and insight what is needed by the communities: for everyone to be freer, happier, fulfilled, without to have to make sacrifice but in a view of symposium and podium of harmony- reinforcing state of art, the state of art of specialization, focalization, specificity for whom aim at it, as well as ensuring that the broad need be assumed, shared and conveyed.

The play at university, to group between students, a little number—s, look as if you were intellectual actual and take the chairs in order to block access to any kind of further and other, over, overt initiatives.
The little groups doing nothing more than finding themselves and their dolce vita, grandiloquence and derisions to build garbage applauded.
also, if you don’t want to hear from me just don’t read it. we had enough of your censorship during the project, if you don’t like discuss don’t even bother coming to meeting but for showing faces and pushing incomplete, unrefined scheme. like the way we finish with only one style of leaflet to publicize to many type of audiences, in many places, and above all by many other means (walls, displays, leaflet distribution).
i came to every single class and i thought there were programs and posters. and instead of doing real pr communication with outlay provoking people to stop and read, we finish with a grey, glossy, with tiny letters, super expensive, and polluting paper and ink, programs unfit for the outdoor publicity. that needed succinct info and big case letters. it was about being, sound, loud found, visible, competitive.

I hear that the new residents of the Duchesne building, which used to house Crucible, will be the postgrad/research team from the Business School. Good people, and good offices. May I wish you all the best in those fantastic spaces. I do hope someone acknowledges that CETL capital funding was diverted from a Southlands extension to rescue the rebuilding of the old Mandela bulding to create Duchesne. So the University has benified from the CETL money and should acknowledge this somehow.
May I also use this space to congratulate the Business School on its six new staff and 1.7 million commitment at a time when good, hard working scholars in the humanities and social sciences are facing redundancies.

C.ET: You know when one sees something like that, hard-core corrupted occurring, in fact occurring many times and times again, to make money, and it is none of your business, then it is logical one loses faith, loses respect for everything.
Onto sometimes loose self-esteem or sadism for sexual kick and the impression in vain to retain power (on their scale of shame, scheme and haine (phonetic ‘hen’, hatred in French).
C.ET: I don’t agree at all with the last part of this documentary. Breeding humanely towards death is the most hypocritical human lies. In fact more than hypocrisy at the final it is deceit.
I all the same propose to you to watch the video as it is an excellent documentary.
Please, we beg you, don’t eat meat = cooked murdered cadavers and since it is still legal under your own order.
PS: I hope the little girl won’t be finally paid by the farming industry to sell the lies of them being caring. let’s go on be caring that way, and like all dairy cows we will finish euthanatized just like some of these little new (but well-bred generally) students would recommend ‘out of compassionate care’ anyway. Or start selecting what they want for their barbies dolls convoluting the buttocks buttox later needed (responsible in mass for animal testing).
C.ET: that just shows the infinite torture during breeding and slaughter. However, whose fault is it, and above all there is no worse torture to be de kept alive to be used as food, whatever the methods. It is the filthy fault of meat-eaters.
C.ET: that is the effect of denying the holiness of religion. I am not saying that there are plenty. However, denying one of them and we d become lifeless.
Not very distressful video, as I think we ve(t) lost the heart necessary to understand these types of cruelty, and therefore stop acknowledging a live of suffering, or our live permitting to lie, to breed and kill.
Heed, hill. Climate will change.
= think we ve lost the hear, think we ve lost the heart.
Think we ve lost the mind.
Deem.
Think we ve lost the vie.
Example of the perversion of negative rights and state laissez-faire.
Obviously state could endorse these experiments but are we citizens from the dead land of inferno, infer.
And when you think you have to design under cover to know 5 mn about these tortures.
Mind 5 mn of that should have been sufficient to close all the existing lab.
C.ET: Indigenous should obviously not be exempted of law against cruelty, that is typical of Australia sense of paternalism, which also is about letting people do just like if they were their child, no able to follow grown rules. but you know what is the just rational for that. is that any tribes, nations, etc, are still allowed to kill animals.
It is the human species that should be endangered.
Stop animal cruelty: say no to cosmetics tested on animals
C.ET: a video also reminding people that little mammals or little rodents, any animals, must be free and might be pet. That also lead to another big problem, are domestic animals free? Often is a ‘nep’. In a pen, without other companions, enough space to do and move, without mates or spaces. Any how noah where the environment. In-vitro.

TO ANSWER a famous French songwriter: no, this human world is nothing near serious.
This is the case, what procurers think they have to do, in general. No wonder about how well Vichy could have thriven. (with English whose royals are of german origin, and the german that have been historically in pairs with the ottoman empire, and some branches now of islam that are pro-nazis) they were right the risk is that no more wars after that, is it a risk though, nature would say differently as ultimately the human plots is to leave her a barren stone, if any.
Granting Legal Rights to Rivers: Is International Law Ready?
Four rivers around the world now have legal rights. But what are the implications of rights for nature for international environmental law?
Essays
August 6, 2018 – by Mara Tignino and Laura E. Turley
Last year, four rivers were granted legal rights: the Whanganui in New Zealand, Rio Atrato in Colombia, and the Ganga and Yamuna rivers in India.
Granting Rights to a River: Enhancing a Right-Based Approach
In contrast to international law, some countries have granted rights to the nature, and specifically to rivers, in their national laws. In 2008, Ecuador recognized the constitutional right of Mother Earth and, in 2010, Bolivia adopted the Laws on the Rights of Mother Earth, which gives legal standing to nature and establishes an ombudsman for the protection of its rights. And in May 2017, Colombia’s Constitutional Court recognized the Atrato River as a legal person.
More recently, the Parliament of New Zealand granted the country’s third-longest river, the Whanganui, the legal rights of a person, after a 140-year campaign by the Whanganui Iwi tribe. In addition to compensating the Whanganui Iwi for grievances, the move seeks to preserve the river for future generations of Whanganui Iwi and all New Zealanders. As such, the river gains its legal personality not from an abstract legal entity, but from the people that are connected with the river.
India’s Ganges River and one of its main tributaries, the Yamuna River were granted these same rights. The high court in the northern state of Uttarakhand — not the national government, as in New Zealand, Ecuador, and Bolivia—issued the order, citing the case of the Whanganui in establishing that that the Ganges and the Yamuna should be accorded the status of living human entities.

New Zealand’s Parliament has just passed a bill to enable the Whanganui River to be recognised as a legal person. It will now be represented by two nominees: one appointed by the Maori community (or Iwi), and another appointed by the government.

An excellent film about the gathering of evidence and legal fight against one of the most powerful energy corporation on earth. The actual film showing both horrors of environmental industrial ACTIONS causing direct (visible, no need for a chemical kit- and invisible of course) environmental degradation, and the parody of justice, in fact even the travesty of the existence of a simple legal system going on and on.
C.ET: This person (THIS HERO) just won a terrible case, (just watch the film, it is telling,) and the corporations are suing him for basically bringing the burden of proof to the for years reluctant authorities that I guessed bent because, thanks to the awareness campaign generated.
How utterly disgusting.

“Chevron has obtained an injunction from U.S. District Court against enforcement of the Ecuadorian verdict.[18]”
“Despite these many setbacks, the Ecuadorian victims of Chevron’s pollution that Donziger helps to represent continue to attempt to enforce the judgment in Ontario, Canada.[19] Actions are also being pursued in Colombia and Argentina where, unlike in Ecuador, Chevron still has major assets.[20] Pursuant to these efforts, Chevron has already had assets frozen in Argentina, including bank deposits and its stake in a pipeline company.[21] These developments followed Donziger’s successful appeal before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals of Judge Kaplan’s worldwide injunction against the enforcement of the Ecuadorian judgment on the basis of Chevron’s allegations of judicial malfeasance in Ecuador.”

Very good, both films changed literally my standard data on environmentalist emergencies, fatalities and the fatal re-actions or complete (complot) passivity (amorphous) of the authorities and businesses’ ethics, as businesses are now the only ones left authorised to speak about ethics with some sort of authorities. Land grabs and the forced displacement of populations, including through state and corporate violence, have been justified through economic development, human development, the extraction of natural resources, the use of land for economic growth, among many other factors. Every single victory during the past year – from exposing horrific abuse of ducks and geese on a French foie gras farm to helping to convince the UK government to reject an appeal to build a facility in Yorkshire that would have bred hundreds of dogs for use in deadly laboratory experiments – was achieved through the generosity of our compassionate members.
But despite so many recent successes, animals are still being confined to tiny, filthy cages on factory farms; electrocuted, strangled and even skinned alive for “fashion”; cut open, poisoned and mutilated in horrific experiments; and beaten and kept in chains in order to force them to perform for human “entertainment”.

C.ET: thank you brother, even if that shows that depending on the vote for a just decision striking tyrants is, as it is, undemocratic. Gay marriage, just as being consensual marriage between adults, just like hetero marriage, should not be voted. It should be without qualifications attributed. Tribute and tribes.

Alligators are kept crowded together in filthy tanks on farms before being clubbed and skinned alive. A PETA US investigation of an alligator farm documented gruesome slaughter methods, including chiselling through an animal’s spinal column with a pointed instrument and hammer. It can take around two hours filled with intense pain for an animal slaughtered this way to die.

Every day, these fascinating forest and river animals are trapped and beaten and have their skin ripped from their bodies simply to create a fashion look.

Incitement to murder is a serious criminal offence.
There won’t be as many baby seals killed this year, but the slaughter is still going forward.
[…]
Crude spiked clubs will crush their still-soft skulls. For some, the skin will be ripped off their bloody bodies while they’re still conscious. All to satisfy a greedy, vain industry that we are working hard to send the way of the dinosaurs.
Please donate now and help us stop the senseless slaughter of seals and other innocent animals.
More than 170,000 harp seals have been slaughtered on the ice floes off Canada’s east coast in recent years. Nearly all of them were less than 3 months old. The seal pups yelp in terror as the sealers’ spiked clubs slam into their heads while other seals nearby can only watch and wail. Many infant seals are bludgeoned before they even eat their first solid meal or learn how to swim.
After violently attacking these young pups, sealers routinely hook them in the eye, cheek, or mouth – sometimes while they are still conscious – to avoid damaging their pelts before dragging the animals across the ice to skin them. They then leave them to die a slow, painful death.
Unless something changes, without more help from animal heroes like you, this horror will occur again. Please donate today so we can ramp up our campaign to stop the slaughter.

LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News) – Muslim mobs upset over an alleged derogatory comment about the prophet of Islam burned down more than 180 Christian-owned houses and shops and at least two church buildings here on Saturday (March 9) after authorities told police to “let them vent their grief and anger,” officials said.
Lahore’s impoverished Joseph Colony looked like a war-ravaged town by Saturday night. There were no reports of casualties, but the site was reminiscent of the destruction in Gojra in 2009, when eight Christians were burned alive, 100 houses looted and 50 homes set ablaze after a blasphemy accusation.

C.ET: could be a lightning. Beautiful animal. And paint. Anyway it’s French.
Leviathan (/lɨˈvaɪ.əθən/; Hebrew: לִוְיָתָן, Modern Livyatan Tiberian Liwyāṯān ; “twisted, coiled”) is a sea monster referenced in the Tanakh and in the Christian Old Testament.
[…]
The Leviathan is mentioned six times in the Tanakh, with Job 41:1-34 being dedicated to describing him in detail:[1]
1 Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?
2 Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?
3 Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words?
4 Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life?
5 Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls?
6 Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants?
7 Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears?
8 If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again!
9 Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering.
10 No-one is fierce enough to rouse him. Who then is able to stand against me?
11 Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.
12 I will not fail to speak of his limbs, his strength and his graceful form.
13 Who can strip off his outer coat? Who would approach him with a bridle?
14 Who dares open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth?
15 His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together;
16 each is so close to the next that no air can pass between.
17 They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted.
18 His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn.
19 Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out.
20 Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds.
21 His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth.
22 Strength resides in his neck; dismay goes before him.
23 The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable.
24 His chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone.
25 When he rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before his thrashing.
26 The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin.
27 Iron he treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood.
28 Arrows do not make him flee, sling stones are like chaff to him.
29 A club seems to him but a piece of straw, he laughs at the rattling of the lance.
30 His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing-sledge.
31 He makes the depths churn like a boiling cauldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 Behind him he leaves a glistening wake; one would think the deep had white hair.
33 Nothing on earth is his equal— a creature without fear.
34 He looks down on all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud.
Isaiah 27:1 he is called the “wriggling serpent” who will be killed at the end of time.[2]
[…] Isaiah 27:1 uses the first of these phrases to describe Leviathan (although in this case the name “Leviathan” apparently refers to an unnamed historical/political enemy of Israel rather than the original serpent-monster).[citation needed] In Psalm 104, Leviathan is not described as harmful in any way, but simply as a creature of the ocean, part of God’s creation. It is possible that the authors of the Job 41:2-26, on the other hand, based the Leviathan on descriptions of Egyptian animal mythology where the crocodile is the enemy of the solar deity Horus (and is subdued either by Horus, or by the Pharaoh). This is in contrast to typical descriptions of the sea monster trope in terms of mythological combat.[2]

[edit] Christianity
The Leviathan of the Middle Ages was used as an image of Satan, endangering both God’s creatures—by attempting to eat them—and God’s creation—by threatening it with upheaval in the waters of Chaos.[7] St. Thomas Aquinas described Leviathan as the demon of envy, first in punishing the corresponding sinners. (Secunda Secundae Question 36) Leviathan became associated with, and may originally have referred to, the visual motif of the Hellmouth, a monstrous animal into whose mouth the damned disappear at the Last Judgement[…] [edit]

Death on a Pale Horse
[…]
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the New Testament of the Bible, called the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John the Evangelist at 6:1-8. The chapter tells of a “‘book’, or ‘scroll’, in God’s right hand that is sealed with seven seals”. The Lamb of God, or Lion of Judah (Jesus Christ), opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons forth four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. Although some interpretations differ, in most accounts, the four riders are seen as symbolizing Conquest,[1] War,[2] Famine,[3] and Death, respectively. The Christian apocalyptic vision is that the four horsemen are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment.[1

The Hebrew monster Leviathan found in the Book of Job has given rise to many popular incarnations. This article treats subjects with no direct connection to the Ancient Middle East or Jewish origins.
[edit] Literature
Leviathan is the title of Thomas Hobbes’ 1651 work on the social contract and the origins of creation of an ideal state, and his proper name for the Commonwealth.
In Paradise Lost, Milton uses the term Leviathan to describe the size and power of Satan, the ruler of many kingdoms.
The Leviathan appears in the last book of the 1975 The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson as a colossal, intelligent sea creature in the shape of a tentacled pyramid.
In Steven Brust’s novel To Reign in Hell, Leviathan (female in this case) is one of seven elder inhabitants of Hell who conspire to prevent Yahweh from creating the Earth as a sanctuary for himself and those loyal to him.
Beelzebub was a prince of the Seraphim, just below Lucifer. Beelzebub, along with Lucifer and Leviathan, were the first three angels to fall. He tempts men with pride and is opposed by St. Francis of Assisi.
University & student union fail to publicly condemn preachers
London – 18 March 2013
The University of East London (UEL) blocked an Islamist meeting that was due to be held on the Stratford campus last Friday, 15 March. The meeting was billed as featuring hate preachers Khalid Yasin and Jalal Ibn Saeed.
The meeting was also advertised with “segregated seating”, where women would be forced to sit separate from men.
The Peter Tatchell Foundation, LGBT Society at UEL and the Braki blog lobbied for the meeting to be cancelled.
Khalid Yasin says homosexuality and lesbianism are “aberrations, they are immoralities.” He endorses the execution of gay people.
He also insists that Muslims should not have non-Muslims as friends, condemning non-Muslims using the derogatory term, kaffirs. He praises public executions and amputations and claims AIDS is a western and World Health Organisation conspiracy to kill Africans.

It’s Sensitive. Really. By William Broad

New York Times, Science Times
“But a team of scientists from Harvard and the National Institute of Standards and Technology has now made a startling discovery: the tusk, it turns out, forms a sensory organ of exceptional size and sensitivity, making the living appendage one of the planet’s most remarkable, and one that in some ways outdoes its own mythology.
The find came when the team turned an electron microscope on the tusk’s material and found new subtleties of dental anatomy. The close-ups showed that 10 million nerve endings tunnel from the tusk’s core toward its outer surface, communicating with the outside world. The scientists say the nerves can detect subtle changes of temperature, pressure, particle gradients and probably much else, giving the animal unique insights.
“This whale is intent on understanding its environment,” said Martin T. Nweeia, the team’s leader and a clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Contrary to common views, he said, “The tusk is not about guys duking it out with sticks and swords.” By William Broad December, 13, 2005
“Around 30,000 small whales, dolphins and porpoises die each year as a result of becoming entangled in fishing gear and drowning. Known as ‘bycatch,’ this accidental catch is one of the greatest threats to cetaceans.
Whaling is another huge problem. Systematic over-exploitation has brought some species close to extinction. In the Antarctic alone, more than two million whales were killed by commercial whalers during the 20th century. In 1986 the International Whaling Commission (IWC) banned commercial whaling. However, loopholes in the rules mean whales can still be hunted for “scientific purposes”. This happens in countries such as Japan and Iceland.
Other threats facing whales include being struck by ships, chemical pollution from industry, and disturbance by noise from navy operations and seismic surveys, and depletion of prey as a result of over fishing”. (wwf)

When The Hobbit is released in December, audiences will see an adventure story set in a fantasy world. For the animals involved in the filming, however, the abuse and neglect that they experienced were far too real. In all, five horses, 12 chickens, a pony and several goats and sheep were allegedly maimed or killed.
The Hobbit PETA
A horse named Shanghai was hobbled (his legs were tied together so that he couldn’t move) and left on the ground for three hours because he was too energetic for his rider. Afterward, in order to hide his rope burns for filming, his legs were covered with make-up and hair. Hobbling is an outright violation of guidelines from the American Humane Association (AHA), which was monitoring the production.
More alleged abuse took place where the animals were housed. One horse was killed and another horse was injured after being placed with two high-strung geldings, despite concerns that the geldings would be too aggressive. Another horse was killed after falling off an embankment in a severely crowded paddock. When the horses were moved to the stables, another horse died, probably from colic, an extremely painful illness, after being fed large amounts of food that he wasn’t used to. When the horses were moved back to the paddocks after this incident, another horse had the skin and muscles of her leg torn away by wire fencing. Several goats and sheep died from worm infestations and from falling into the sinkholes that covered the farm, and 12 chickens were mauled and killed by unsupervised dogs or trampled by other animals when left unprotected.
How can something like this happen when the unit production manager was warned and the production was monitored by the AHA? Furthermore, this movie was directed by Peter Jackson, a master of computer-generated imagery (CGI). In a movie that features CGI dragons, ogres, and hobbits, CGI animals would have fit in perfectly. Jackson could have made The Hobbit without using a single animal—and he should have.
Send a message to filmmakers that hurting and killing animals for a film is unacceptable and refuse to see movies that do. Urge Peter Jackson to hold himself and his crew responsible when it comes to animal safety on film sets. Send him a message now!

Story of having to read about vegetarianism to realize it is super healthy. Dozens of hundreds of professionals thesis and summaries now available on internet.
I wanted to do a summary about vegetarian diet, but now with looking up on the net it is so easy that I decide to leave this to myriads of true dieticians, cooks, or all persons of certain amount of knowledge.
I am a vegan now, just cause I was thinking to cows or goats and sheep that are used years in years, over used and deformed, their breast distended (dissent) to the floor in repugnant condition (condiment) of hygiene even when they are deemed to be free…to what? To be put down when they start being a granny. Grain.
In London, of all cities, so many different foods coming from everywhere, and a lot about vegetarian thanks to some sects of the Hindus (hindus aren’t all vegetarians) .
as a vegetarian I even stopped being one following old myth (distort) and fearing I did not have protein enough when my jobs became somewhat and sometimes harder physically.
The real reason, the one determinant is that it was 10 years ago and that I did not have internet access. One day, though, I went to one of the biggest public library in Europe, in paris. I was erring inside (well many days like this) and just bumped into the vegetarian shelves. I knew I could become vegetarian again without any risks as information were at hands. Working in transportation at the time, and at several occasions and in fact regularly I could see from far and all the way the cows, pigs, sheeps, fowl, oh folk, trying to take deep breath through the aperture of the trucks driving them to slaughter houses.
As I was watching them, I recognised yes, eyes, nostrils, muses, lips, mouths, and beards (wired), hip hails, ail, hairs, flesh, silky under, pelt, skin then leather. I am so ashamed, rather (rate) not to say, even to myself, as I knew since the start of my life that these are animals, that they are vest best friends, that they are us, that they cuddle, think, feel, live, laugh, cry and smile for the ones that have listened to their heart. Heart beat just the way one take breath after breath, for live to enter, even though we gonna be slaughtered by the very same that bred them. I don’t know I had to say to myself, you have to become vegetarian back, I don’t know how dozens, hundreds, thousands times, since repeated and sever, sieve, siezed or served, in my mind or conscience rather, looking att these animals that you can attribute with comprehension enough to know, or sense of course more, the fact that they are driven (to, certain, ascertain, certitude, attitude of not in-human HAM) to their meat, death without human braver to defy the holocaust of all ages, and animal like human expires. And what about what one would say, crate, treat trait, ingloriously ignominiously like that, back to their creator?
To stop when you have read the 10th good book on vegetarianism. And swer to everything you got- life content and awarness of that- while you got that one gaze is one more, less for one’s paradise path, if one’s own is not up to that, appreciate a beast same content. Con-tent. The same home the same sky. As far as the / the shelter don’t dry dust or allow defloration, deforestation by sadness or inundations. Radiation, radiator.
And now the ashes are dying. “Don’t it always seem to go,” sang Joni Mitchell in her fey, sexy, Canadian way, “that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone?” She was right.
Ordinarily – don’t you find? – it is interesting and even exhilarating to see a tree cut down. Its insides, so clean and beautifully structured, are as appetising as any tray of dressed honeycomb tripe or scrubbed pigs’ feet piled on the butcher’s counter in the market. But a diseased tree, turned to dead timber, is as repellent as a side of beef with BSE.
Some people take tree-felling harder. “The ash tree growing in the corner of the garden was felled,” wrote Gerard Manley Hopkins one April Tuesday in Lancashire, when he was still in his twenties. “I heard the sound and, looking out and seeing it maimed, there came at that moment a great pang and I wished to die and not to see the inscapes of the world destroyed any more.”
By inscape, a word he had invented about five years earlier, the poet meant “individually-distinctive beauty”. I’m not sure whether his intuition of “thisness” (on which inscape relies) is intellectually coherent. Never mind. What he did do was see and feel, and since there have already been 100,000 ash trees cut down to counter this new-found fungal disease, Chalara fraxinea, their loss should cause many a pang.
It’s not just Hopkins, but before leaving him, it’s worth borrowing his eyes for a moment. “On a December day and furled fast,” he wrote in a poem on ash boughs, “they in clammyish lashtender combs creep / Apart wide and new-nestle at heaven most high. / They touch heaven, tabour on it; how their talons sweep / The smouldering enormous winter welkin.”
That is simply true. By lashtender I suppose he means “soft as eyelashes”, and their boughs’ ends do sweep and beat upon the sky as on a tabour. It’s the “clammyish” aspect, though, that has weighed against the ash in my experience: their clusters of seeds or keys hang soggily and their fallen leaves lie slimily on the dewy grass. That is very different from the crisp, copper leaf litter of the beech. But then we are used to seeing ashes in damp hedgerows.
They have thriven in hedges where once the elms were dominant. The loss of 25 million elms in Britain from Dutch elm disease since the Sixties has utterly transformed the landscape. It is not merely the number of trees now missing, but the lost character that they gave the places where they grew – a cricket field, say, where rooks cawed from a row of elms beyond the boundary.
It was just such a rookery of elms to which David Copperfield (Dickens in not much disguise) first opened his eyes. Their wind-tossed boughs prophesied bad times ahead. “As the elms bent to one another, like giants who were whispering secrets, and after a few seconds of such repose, fell into a violent flurry, tossing their wild arms about, as if their late confidences were really too wicked for their peace of mind, some weatherbeaten ragged old rooks’ nests, burdening their higher branches, swung like wrecks upon a stormy sea.”
For today’s readers this picture of elms means nothing, or next to nothing, since we no longer know elms and their characteristic shape. Is it soon to be the same with ashes?
Kipling tried to give the ash tree a place in an invented mythology for England in Puck of Pook’s Hill. His triad of English trees discounted the yew, or beech, or elm, and he swore instead by oak, ash and thorn. “Thorn of the Down saw New Troy Town / (From which was London born) / Witness hereby the ancientry/ Of Oak, and Ash, and Thorn.” He meant that the ash stood guard when Brutus, the descendant of Aeneas, settled in Britain at about the time that the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant from the Israelites. A likely story.
Still, Kipling was on to something when he made the ash part of a forgotten mythology. He was really writing about England, rather than Britain, and the English cannot help sharing in the myths of their Germanic forebears that seem so unconvincing on stage in Wagner.
Yet, as the Eddas tell us, the ash tree Yggdrasil is the noblest of trees (though the Norsemen at last learnt of a nobler). It embraces the world. On this tree Odin himself was hanged and sacrificed himself. Only when the tree is set on fire will the world end. “Smoke wreathes up around the ash Yggdrasil, the high flames play against the heavens, the graves of the gods, of the giants and of men are swallowed up by the sea. This is Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods.”
In England now, instead of the pyres that burnt cattle during the foot-and-mouth plague (their legs dark against the sky), we see the smoke of the ash trees. It’s not the end of the world, of course. Or is it…?
Remove limescale from taps by taking half a lemon and rub around the end of your taps, or leave slices around the base. Leave for an hour, or overnight if they’re bad, then rub with an old toothrush or cloth and rinse. Lemon juice shouldn’t be used on plated taps.

Aan the orangutan recovering after being shot 100 times with airgun
The orangutan, thought to be around 15 years old, was rescued by conservation workers who found a staggering 104 pellets lodged in her vital organs, eyes and ears.
Yahoo! News – Aan is treated by conservation workers who rescued her after she was shot more than 30 times in the head (SWNS)
A brave orangutan is on the miraculous road to recovery after she was cruelly shot more than 100 times with an airgun.
Aan the great ape was repeatedly attacked by callous yobs who objected to her roaming around an oil plantation in Borneo, Indonesia.
The orangutan, thought to be around 15 years old, was rescued by conservation workers who found a staggering 104 pellets lodged in her vital organs, eyes and ears.
Horrifying x-rays show the extent of her cruel treatment, after which vets performed vital surgery to remove 37 pellets from her head and a further 67 from the rest of her body.
Horrific: An x-ray shows more than 30 pellets lodged in Aan’s head (SWNS)
The endangered ape – left blind by the repeated attacks – underwent a three-hour procedure to treat the airgun wounds and is now making a remarkable recovery.
Dr Zulfiqri, a veterinarian from the British-based Orangutan Foundation, removed 32 of the pellets lodged in her body and head during a three-hour surgery at the BKSDA-Kalteng office in Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan.
Aan is now recovering at the Orangutan Foundation Veterinary Facility where she is taking food and water and “showing an incredible resilience against all she has undergone”.
But Aan is now blind with scans showing a dozen pellets lodged in and around her eyes – meaning food and water must be touched or placed in her hands.
The foundation says it is now unlikely Aan will ever be released back into the wild because she will be an easy target for hunters and angry farmers who view orangutans as pests.
Her story is another tragic example of the plight faced by orangutans in the wild as they have their habitat destroyed.
Aan, 15, pictured before she received vital surgery (SWNS)
Despite being protected by law, orangutans live in rainforests which are being destroyed through logging and conversion to oil-palm plantations.
It is hoped her experience will help raise awareness of the cruel situation suffered by orangutans in the wild – and encourage tough punishments on those who hunt and kill the endangered animals.
Earlier this year four men were sent to jail for eight months for shooting and beating to death three orangutans and long-nosed monkeys in East Kalimantan.
Mr Bambang Hartono, head of the local conservation agency, said: “I hope that Aan will now feel more comfortable being in the forest living in a large holding cage.
“We will work together with the Orangutan Foundation to find the best way so that Aan can continue to live.”
Ashley Leiman OBE, director of the Orangutan Foundation added: “We have worked in Borneo over 20 years and have never had to rescue three orangutans in four days.
“The reasons for the increase could be due to the rapid loss of orangutan habitat or it could be because more people are reporting orangutans to the wildlife department whereas before they would have killed
them.”

Scrapped green spaces in Roehampton’s university (rueing the day).
For the new comers, the enterprise ROOOO, ROOOOO UNI have been destroying the wild life biosphere, sole remaining fury fury fury fruity patch of the foregone englobing (enclosing!?) millenaries. What do you think about the slow but hachuring eradication of all green spaces in Roehampton university?
This university owes her m.a.g.ic (see.key.g.a.m) and music to her ponds, woods, games and poultry- no one is gonna suing me to name what nest in your plates.
It certainly does not own it for having binned human rights, arts, literature, philosophy, pro.grams.
Look at what this bunch, those cattle (catered) of stake_holders made of this centuries-old heritage.
Would you know where they burrow, *pit at them on accountability row –at turn (attune). But don’t count (hope for) on that, we are the generation dropped-in, and the wall as inaccessible as bosses, patrons, citizens, teachers’ reliability. Do you think they would tell you, no and sometimes for the less routeing for fear of embarking onto a weeping wiping nepotism of artificial, cup-idly groupings, family or party inequalable unlevel of vulgarity. Note that it was understandably understate earlier that never did I suppose that cries could not be leg-i-time-mate; or complaints if constructive, not manipulative, space free letting and two-way, a necessary process of good progress and conviviality. Ps1: there are boards from year 2004 vintage that explain to your kids how to recycle.
Also it’s time to understand the importance of it.
1- Could one avoid buying this disposable packaging (bags, cardboards, plastics, cups) that will be buried less quick than parents, siblings, and other generations of rubbishing spoiling education reduction. Recycling still pollutes.
2- When one does buy an item, could they put it in the right containers (and make complex, perplex arrangement, do some yards, not rubbish yard, but meters onto the designated pal place please.)
3- When one realizes that some of you leave their litter on the floors or on tables, it would be about wise to do communities services of you, before “who knows” tend (tend-or?) after your arse, hopefully well before the afters.
Ps2: deer, don’t count on countryside for redeeming action; it is but deforestation, desertification, mud, slaughter houses and pesticide.

Fake news is a real problem in dealing with articles, and it happened to me at least once to have redistributed an article that had all the signs of being genuine but was in fact fabricated- hundreds of thousands people thought it was genuine and had been widely distributed-mind came after a genuine scandal of the same nature.
By the way, I still have an item that raises concern, I kept it as organ trafficking particularly on very poor populations in several countries and also on migrants and on refugees is a reality. I currently kept an article on organ trafficking by several ex-member of the Greek parliament, but if apparently the subjects may have been treated by the Greek media (I cannot read Greek), only one paper (that I thought peer-reviewed) talking about it has been released in English…so I wonder.
